OttoAI today announced its entry into Switzerland, marking the company's first dedicated presence in continental Europe. The milestone was underscored by a working meeting sponsored by the Swiss Federal Administration and Tenity at the Swiss Parliament in Bern, where OttoAI's leadership discussed how autonomous AI agents can support productivity and digital sovereignty for Swiss organizations.

The expansion centers on a new office in Zug — the heart of Switzerland's technology and innovation corridor. The site will serve as OttoAI's European engineering and operations hub, bringing the company's agent platform closer to the customers, regulators, and talent shaping the region's digital economy.

At the Federal Palace, the discussion focused on the responsible deployment of autonomous systems in sensitive sectors, the importance of transparent audit trails for AI-driven decisions, and how Switzerland's strong governance traditions can serve as a model for trustworthy automation. The meeting reflected a shared interest in building technology that augments people rather than replacing their judgment.

Built for regulated industries

Alongside the office opening, OttoAI is launching a dedicated enterprise tier designed for the requirements of Swiss banking, insurance, and public-sector organizations. The tier adds data-residency controls, granular role-based permissions, configurable approval gates, and a complete, exportable log of every action an agent takes.

These capabilities build on OttoAI's core principle that autonomy must come with accountability. Every decision an agent makes is explainable and reversible — a posture that aligns closely with Switzerland's rigorous standards for data protection and operational oversight.

"Switzerland has always set the bar for trust and precision. It's the right place to build the autonomous workforce — one built on transparent and secure automation."
